January: Forgetting Those Things Which Are Behind
The Apostle Paul made a profound statement when he said that he was “forgetting those things which were behind and pressing FORWARD toward the mark of the high call in Christ Jesus.” On top of everyday life, 2020 has brought us unprecedented obstacles that we have had to deal with and it has changed our world as we knew it. I’m here to tell you that we cannot do anything about the past; we can only look FORWARD!
As we move into 2021, I want to challenge you to heed the call of Paul and to press FORWARD toward the mark. God has a place that He’s bringing us to. He has a plan for you and your family. He has moved on those you love and has begun to stir their heart. He has a plan and we need to collectively embrace that plan without being distracted by the unchangeable events of our past. Press FORWARD, my brothers and sisters, and DON’T…LOOK…BACK!
