June – Be the Solution

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son”….Soon following the creation of earth and mankind, things went drastically in the wrong direction. We see that God made attempts to purge the earth of evil and of sin but He eventually realized that “wiping out” mankind was not the answer; therefore, He promised Noah He would never destroy mankind by water again.

What happened? GOD decided to be the solution. God decided that He would fix the problem himself so, in the flesh of Jesus Christ, GOD came to earth. The scripture says He did not come to judge but He came to bring life, so on this earth Jesus does not judge but He is life. He is hope. He gives peace. He gives answers. Jesus became the solution.

I want to encourage each of you today, when you see an issue or problem, when you see somebody in need, when you see somebody that needs direction, counsel or guidance…be the solution, don’t be the problem. Talking about people, talking about their weaknesses and their problems are not in the spirit of Jesus. Jesus came to be the solution and He did so with love, gentleness, and kindness…and that my friend is how the church needs to approach every situation on this earth (inside the church or out). I implore you today, be the solution, don’t be the problem.
