Our Future is Bright
Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” This scripture brings me great reassurance and hope. Hope that our future, no matter how it may look, is bright. We are in a season now of pruning and of proving. God will continue to accelerate and advance the church (you and I) but it’s important for us to always hold on to hope even during the darkest of days. The word of God is our reassurance. Scriptures such as this reminds us that God begun a work and He will finish that work.
Romans 15:4 teaches us that through patience and comfort in the scriptures we might have hope. Jeremiah 29:11 says that He knows the thoughts that He has towards us; thoughts of peace and not evil. To give us an expected end. God has already mapped this thing out. He knows what tomorrow holds regardless of how it looks. Today, I challenge you to hold on to hope with everything that you’ve got. Believe that your future is bright and believe that God is doing something that has never happened before in your life. If you find yourself discouraged, run to the Word. Pull one of these verses out and let it be your battle cry because your future IS bright.
