December 2023- Never Give Up Hope
The scripture says “but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?” As 2023 comes to a close, I think it would be fitting if we all reevaluate ourselves to see where we have come from, what God has done and hold on to the hope of our future in Jesus Christ. The Christmas season ushers in this spirit of hope; there is something about giving that inspires people and we need to embrace hope as the most fundamental, nontangible attribute that we have been afforded.
God is working in His church and God never fails. God is more interested in the strength of the church than you and I. Sometimes we have to hold on to hope when everything else looks like it’s collapsing. If there is nothing to hope for, then what is the reason to have hope. Hope guides us through our valleys and our uncertainties, and through hope we understand that God IS able. God wants to do something exceeding, abundantly above all that we can ask or think. Hold on to hope in this new year and watch and see what God is going to do!
