Diminishing the Greater
I John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. It seems to me that oftentimes Christians feel inferior to the things that we wrestle with on a day to day basis. The things that come against us by way of opposition or attack. However, the scripture teaches us that He who is in us is GREATER, so why the struggle?
Why is it that we allow confusion (because that’s what it is) to take over and to cause us to feel as if we are on the losing end of every battle? I’ve come today to remind you that GREATER is He who is in me, than he who is in the world.
– You are not inferior to the obstacles that you will encounter!
– You are not inferior to the adversary that comes against you!
– You are not inferior because the GREATER is in you and GREATER is He who is in me than he who is in the world.
Don’t diminish the Lord by accepting the notion that you are inferior to your opposition or to your battlefield. Remember always that if the GREATER is in me, I will always have the victory. You just need to be patient and wait on the Lord. Trust that the GREATER in you is working against the opposition that comes against you. Don’t diminish the GREATER!
