Youth and Kids Ministries

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6

We have a wide variety of ministries available for kids of all ages!

Ages 5 - 8

Faith Finders is one of the many children’s ministries available at PCC! This youth group is comprised of 5 to 8 year olds and meets every Friday at 6:30 pm. The purpose of this group is to help lay a strong spiritual foundation for your kids in a fun & exciting way! We have found that involving your children in youth activities at this age helps strengthen their knowledge of the Bible and their relationships with God.

Ages 9 - 12

Soldiers For Christ is one of the many children’s ministries available at PCC! This youth group is comprised of 9 to 12 year olds and meets every Friday at 6:30 pm. The purpose of this group is to help lay a strong spiritual foundation for your kids in a fun & exciting way! We have found that involving your children in youth activities at this age helps strengthen their knowledge of the Bible and their relationships with God.

Ages 13 - 18

The word “elevate” means to “raise or lift (something) up to a higher position.” Elevate Student Ministries exists to spiritually lift up our 12 to 18 year olds. We strive to help prepare young people not only for the callings that God has placed on their futures, but also to equip them to be an active part of carrying out God’s vision for the church in their daily lives! This group meets every Friday at 7 PM!

Ages 4 - 12

After Sunday morning’s worship, children ages 4 through 12 will be dismissed from the sanctuary to Sunday School. This is where they will learn about the Lord in a loving and friendly environment. Here at PCC, our Sunday School teachers strive to create an experience that your children will want to come back for! We also have a children's class available during our midweek services!

Girls Ages 10 - 15

Esther’s Etiquette is our church’s chapter of Today’s Christian Girl, which is a UPCI-sponsored, club-type ministry. The motto for our group is: “Learning how to be Daughters of the King.” As daughters of the King of Kings (Jesus), we strive to teach girls about their royal identity. Every 4th Wednesday of the month we gather to do some “training for reigning!” We meet after the worship portion of service, and begin with a snack, games or activities, and conclude with a short lesson on issues that girls their age commonly face and topics that will help prepare them for their futures. We also occasionally plan field-trips!

Nursery

We believe strong families are the foundation of a strong church, so we’re passionate about providing little ones with a safe and fun environment to play and learn so parents and guardians can worship care-free and focus during the sermon.Sunday mornings the nursery will be open to children from 6 weeks to 3 years old & on Wednesday nights the age limit is extended to 4 years old. Nursery Guidelines are provided to parents/caretakers when they place their child in the nursery for the first time.
