James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed”.

Recently while listening to Bro. Arazu preach, I was reminded of the importance of “praying for one another”! This seems silly; “do I really need reminded” you may ask? The answer…YES! Our world is so fast paced and we are pulled in so many directions at any one time that our mental capacity has been stretched to critical levels.

We are a wounded generation; we often take things personally and defensively because of our wounds and our willingness to pray for our church family can be affected by feelings of hurt. Remember this: church family and church leadership are human and they themselves need prayer! If we allow our own pain or business to hinder our willingness to pray for others, they may fall prey to the adversary.

This scripture reminds us the importance of praying for each other AND it reminds us that through our prayers that person can receive the healing that they need. Today I’m asking you to pray one for another and don’t allow life to hinder that! Someone’s life, their healing and even their walk with God may hinge on YOUR prayers.
